Pregnancy week 6.

Subhanallah...indahnya!

Ok. Sebab teruja sangat dengan this pregnancy ni kan..semalam duk google la pasal rupa fetus saya dalam tummy ni. Tengok perkembangan..tengok food yang should be taken..Ok jom baca pasal perkembangan fetus kalau kita hamil 6 minggu. Sumber ni Akma amik dari "Babycenter.com.my"

Saiz embrio sebesar kacang dhal di minggu ini. Sekiranya anda boleh melihat ke dalam tubuh anda, anda akan mendapati bahawa kepala fetus lebih besar daripada badannya. Raut muka embrio sedang membentuk dan terdapat bintik hitam di mana matanya patut berada, juga terdapat pembukaan-pembukaan di tempat lubang hidung, dan lubang-lubang yang menandakan telinga. Kudup-kudup membonjol menjadi lebih kelihatan sekarang dan ini akan menjadi tangan dan kaki. Tangan dan kaki embrio seakan-akan dayung. Perkembangan lain termasuk pertumbuhan kelenjar pituitari dan gentian otot. Anda belum dapat mendengarnya, tetapi jantung (yang kini terbahagi kepada kamar kanan dan kiri) berdenyut sekitar 150 denyut per minit - dua kali ganda kadar denyutan anda. Pada pertengahan minggu ini, embrio mula membuat pergerakan-pergerakan pertamanya. Walau bagaimanapun, anda terpaksa menunggu sehingga satu masa dalam trimester kedua sebelum dapat menikmati sensasi dari sesi-sesi senaman bayi anda.

Malam semalam abang called. Abang cakap makhluk comel dalam perut ni will be a girl. Ok. excited terlebih abang ni. Bagi Akma, whether Aminah or Ali, Akma tak kisah. Kita sebagai ibu ni cuma harapkan baby berkembang dan sihat. Itu je. Ya Allah..lindungilah Akma dan kandungan. Amin.

I am a Mom-To-Be ! Alhamdulillah!

Assalamualaikum. Okay. Memang seriously tak tahu nak mula dari mana. You know why? Because I am too excited! And thankful...and happy...and nervous..mixed feelings.

Kan dah mentioned dalam entry lepas yang Akma dah buat UPT on last Tuesday and the result was negative. So semalam lepas balik dari kursus terus ke farmasi untuk test lagi. Before beli tu, I called my BFF. Maklumlah...dia dah berpengalaman..So she said beli yang murah cap Watson pun dah ok. Dan lepas test tu tunggu sekejap. Kadang-kadang line second tu lambat dan blur. So maybe ni silap Akma masa test yang lepas. Tak tunggu lama untuk result dia.

So beli banyak UPT test semalam. Dari yang murah sampai yang digital cap Clearblue pun beli. Kata orang cap Clearblue sangat accurate. Tak kisah la mahal ke tak, tapi sebab nak sangat kepastian dan jawapan kenapa Miss P delay terlalu lama walaupun tanda-tanda macam nak datang ada. Dan perlu jawapan pasti gejala keletihan melampau ni. But I didn't tell my husband sebab husband cakap tak payah check. Bulan 6 nanti baru check. Tapi nak buat macam manakan....dah bini dia degil. Haha!

So pagi tadi bangun pukul 5.30 a.m. terus ke toilet. Nak dapatkan first urine. Pakai yang jenama Watson tu je dulu. Bukan apa...takut negative nanti kecewa. So I waited patiently. Mula-mula satu line je keluar. Dengan hampa keluar toilet menuju ke living hall. Sampai kat depan tv...nak letak test strip tu dalam kotak dia balik..tetiba nampak satu jalur kabur. Excited dah time tu. Makin lama makin nampak the second line tu. Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah. Apa-apa pun snap gambar dulu nak tunjuk kat suami yang berada nun jauh di JB.

Second line yang sangat kabur. Owh. Jari masih ada inai ye puan-puan...hiii

Lepas tu nak kepastian lagi..terus grab yang Clearblue digital UPT tu. Dan test lagi sekali. Bukan main lama nak keluar result dia. Orang lagi dah berdebar kan... Hasilnya? Alhamdulillah! Positive juga! Alhamdulillah. 

Alhamdulillah! Syukur!

So terus called husband. Mula-mula dia macam mamai-mamai...bila dengar je "Abang..sayang pregnant". Dia terus normal. Hihi. So husband suruh gi klinik untuk confirmkan. Pstu called mak dan my bff which is mommy-to-be jugak. Excited terlebih kan..

Well..Akma dah pun ke klinik..Mula-mula doktor nak tengok semua UPT yang dah dibuat. Nasib baik ada amik gambar...Ada juga bahan bukti nak tunjuk kat doktor. So tadi pun buat test lagi di klinik..Alhamdulillah I am 6 weeks pregnant. Due date is on January 2014. Kat clearblue tu memang week dia tak sama dengan yang doktor kira. Who cares? Janji dia tulis pregnant. Hihi. Ok. Dah boleh pergi buat buku pink. Yayyy!!!! Semoga Allah melindungi Akma dan kandungan. Amin. Hadiah birthday untuk husband. :)

By the way, bila pergi klinik tadi baru tahu..Doktor cakap kalau Miss P dah delay lebih 7 hari dah sepatutnya kena datang dan buat UPT. Sorry doktor. Tak tau. Husband saya yang suruh jangan check dulu. Hihi. Kepada puan-puan yang dah delay period lebih tujuh hari tu..pastu mengalami simptom macam Akma rasa - letih melampau, perut sakit macam nak period, breast bengkak n sakit, badan panas macam demam tapi tak demam sebenarnya...cepat-cepatlah gi buat UPT. Tapi setiap orang lain tanda-tandanya.

So I am a mommy to be!! Alhamdulillah!

*Husband dah excited terlebih..setiap setengah jam dia called. Hihi.

Identity Thief

Just got back from a movie treat with Sis Farah. You know, things are getting mess at school with the boss having swing mood, the abundance of workloads...So we need a little time of ourselves to literally escape from those chaos at school. Stress can be harmful, did you know that?

So we chose Identity Thief. What I can say is...OMG!! The movie was so awesome! So hilarious! I was laughing..I think from the beginning of the movie till the end. I just can't handle it! Melissa McCarthy played the role very well...and same goes to Jason Bateman. And so do others casts. Well done guys. You guys really took my stress away. 

I think all the scenes are my favorite. But the most I think was when the real Sandy Patterson chasing another Sandy Patterson by the highway. 

She was trying to run fast..and she's so confident!

She was just like a hobbit! One of the best line was "Oh my god! What are you? A Kenyan?" Hahahaha!

If you need something to trigger your laughing hormone, I think you guys should go and watch this movie. Great movie!!!!!!!

A Letter To My Future Baby

(Disclaimer : When writing this, I am not pregnant. I repeat, NOT PREGNANT)

My dear future baby,

Where are you? I don't know why but I have been thinking about you lately. Maybe because most of my friends are already had babies or maybe because you are something that me and your dad can't resist. Well...it doesn't matter why, but  I just wanted you to know that I am thinking about you yesterday, today and tomorrow. Always.

I was wondering what you will be like. Wondering if you'll be a girl, you have a dimple on your cheek and lashes just like I do..and if you'll be a boy, you'll be good at fishing just like your dad. Maybe you'll be a teacher, maybe you'll like to read and write or maybe you'll love music. Well..whatever you'll be, I know that you're going to be good and smart. I don't know you yet but one thing for sure is that I already love you.

Hmm....I wonder what it will be like to have you in my tummy for 40 weeks, to bring you out to see the world.....to hold you, to kiss you and just to stare at you for hours. I know that you'll be the most beautiful creature I've ever seen that I won't be able to take my eyes off you. I just can't wait for it. I can't wait for the day that I don't have to worry about anything else except you. I know that you are going to change me soon. You are going to change me in a good way. 

Well...I don't have any ideas when to expect you. But that's okay. I just wanted you to know that where ever you are right now, I think about you often. And I pray for you too. I pray that I will me a good mom to you, and my husband will be a good dad too. I pray that you will always see the love between us, and the love that we have for you. 

For the meantime, me and your dad will be enjoying the moment to ourselves.We are laughing a lot, seeking for adventures and experiences. We are learning the lessons that we need to learn before you get here. We just can't wait to meet you someday. We just want you to know that even though we don't know you yet but we are already very much in love with you.

Pampering is a must!

Today I feel so much better than yesterday even though my hand are still trembling and shaking. Thank you Allah for this speedy recovery. Alhamdulillah.

As I was resting and reading, suddenly my  husband called me. He said I can go to spa if I want to..you know, to do massage as I told him last night I had a serious back ache due to the fever.I quickly get off from my bed and took a shower, ready to pamper my body. I'm not used this area so I just go try an error. Found this spa called Baliness.Wow! Bali?! Sounds interesting. Why not to give a shot, right?

So I did full body scrub with massage and milk bath. OMG!!! That was refreshing! Being on the bed for 2 days with bruises here and there really make my body so tired. The scrub was awesome, the massage was so good and the bath was so refreshing! I can feel my skin is so moist, so tender, just like a baby!And after that I tried the facial. I'm so fussy when it comes to facial. I will not simply say yes to any facial as it involves my face. Last time I did facial it was 2010. It was at New York's skin solution. That was my last time.

As the beautician (the owner of the spa itself did the facial to me) touch my face she was amazed and she said my skin is so smooth, so tender, so clean, so moist, pores are so tight, and hardly been seen, I mostly have no problem on my skin at all. Alhamdulillah! So she started to interview me on the product that I'm currently using and my everyday beauty skin routine. So we started to have a chat. So here what I do everyday.

My night routine

1. Always, always, always remove your make up before you wash your face. Although you are not using any make up , just a moisturizer, sunblock and compact powder, you must remove the dirt. I only use this make up remover from Silky Girl. It's so cheap! MYR 15.90!

2. After removing the make up and the dirt, I wash my face using this Lancome Blanc Expert Ultimate whitening purifying foam. The cleanser is so soft on your skin and leave your face clean, smooth and supple. You can get this at any Lancome booth for MYR 120.00 for 125ml.

3. Next I used this toner from Lancome also. I use Visionnaire Lotion Fondamental. It makes your pores so tight! And you will feel so good after applying it on your face. Sesiapa yang ada masalah pores yang besar, boleh cuba Visionnaire ni. Also, you can get it at any Lancome booth for the price MYR 160 for 200ml bottle.

4. Next step is serum. I'm using a serum, youth activator, also from Lancome. This Genefique serum is a must. Sebabnya dia akan memulihkan sel dari dalam. I mean dia pulihkan DNA kulit kita. Sangat awesome. It can be purchased at any Lancome booth. The price is MYR 249.00 only for 75ml bottle. And it's worth to buy!

5. After applying serum..for the moment I am using this vitamin C capsules from bodyshop. One capsule per night will leave your skin glowing the next day. I use it for a month then I stop for a month and I use it back again..until now. I don't use it continuously. But hey, don't worry, when you are using Lancome's product, you can mix it with others. Lancome product is so safe. No worries. :) You can get this capsule at any Bodyshop outlet. The Price is MYR 89.90 only for a case with 28 capsules inside. Enough for one month!

Ok. That's all about my everyday routine. And for my every week routine, I just use this Wash off Rice Mask from Skin Food, 2-3 times a week. Kalau rajin, 3 kali, kalau malas...2 kali je..hihi.  Been using it since I was a student, it's around 2008 if I'm not mistaken. And yes, I'm still using it now. It's so good and affordable. The price is only MYR 49.90 for 100 g bottle and it last for 6 months! 

That's for for the moment as the entry is getting longer. I'll share my day routine later in my next entry. Well my advice to every girls and women out there..Rajin-rajin lah menjaga kecantikan. Hargai kecantikan yang Allah dah bagi kat kita. Tak kisah lah product mahal ke murah, yang penting kita jaga.

Chocolate Sandwich Cake

Dah lama rasanya tak share pasal resepi kan? Asyik cerita pasal kahwin je. Maklumlah...teruja sngat kan...So hari ni Akma nak share resepi yang mudah dan senang dan yang penting sedap. Cake ni memang sedap dan lembut. sangAt sesuai buat hidangan masa minum petang. Hari tu buat kat rumah untuk jamu anak-anak buah....Diaorang memang suka ! Sekejap je licin! Lagi-lagi ada Nutella kan. Sukalah bebudak tu.  Okaylah...cakap banyak pun tak guna. Jom kita share resepi!

Bahan-bahan:

150 gm tepung gandum

2 tbsp serbuk koko

1 tbsp baking powder

175 gm butter

175 gm golden caster sugar (Akma pakai soft brown sugar...pun boleh)

3 biji telur (beaten)

1 tsp esen vanila

2 tbsp milk (Akma guna Dutch Lady Full Cream milk)

Chocolate spread (Akma pakai Nutella...yummy!)

Icing sugar (untuk dusting) and cherries untuk hiasan

Melted butter  dan sedikit tepung untuk grease kan loyang

Cara-cara:

1. Mula-mula sila panaskan oven 180 darjah Celcius, grease kan loyang pembakar dengan butter dan sprinkle kan sedikit tepung. Rasa nak lagi selamat alas dengan baking paper. 
2. Ayakkan tepung, serbuk koko dan baking powder dalam satu mangkuk yang besar. Kemudian masukkan butter, gula, telur (yang dah dipukul tau) dan esen vanila. Pukul adunan sehingga adunan tu jadi smooth dan lembut, then masukkan susu.
3. Bahagikan adunan menjadi dua bahagian. Pastikan kedua-dua loyang yang anda nak guna tu sama saiznya. Kalau takde 2 loyang yang sama, bakar satu-satu adunan tu. Bakar dalam 25-30 minit.
4. Bila dah masak, sejukkan cake tadi. Keluarkan dari loyang...lepas tu letakkan chocolate spread kat tengah2..jadi macam sandwich la kan..sesiapa yang suka peanut butter, boleh ganti dengan peanut butter...or maybe fruits jam ke...up to you.
5. Dah siap, dust kan icing sugar..macam snowy effect gitew...pastu susunkan cherries comel-comel. Tada!!! Sedia untuk dihidang.

D.I.Y Project - Bunga telur (Part 1)

Hello Sunshine!

Berulang-alik Seremban-Gombak then Gombak- Seremban everyday is kinda like my routine dah. Dah rasa dekat Seremban dengan Gombak. Tapi balik kerja memang of course penat sesangat. Sampai rumah dalam 3 o'clock. Then need to prepare dinner. Tapi hari ni adalah hari berehat dari memasak sebabnya in the middle of meeting kat school dpt text from BIL cakap tak payah masak. Ok. Zasss! Mood nak siapkan projek DIY bunga telur untuk bunga pahar Akma dah datang!!! Of course la semangat nak balik laju-laju kan....

Sampai rumah...bergolek-golek dulu...minum-minum dulu...tengok jam dah 4.30 pm. Ok. Da rugi masa kat situ. Cepat-cepat selongkar lubuk bahan-bahan yang Akma perlukan...

Oh ya! Speaking about buat sendiri bunga telur..memang jimat. Akma beli barang-barang unntuk prepare 100 pcs bunga telur total semua RM91.80. What????? Well itulah hakikatnya..dah dapat jimat kat situ, bukan? All I need adalah masa, tenaga dan yang paling penting KERAJINAN. Lagi satu..bila buat sendiri, hati jadi puas sebab dapat ikut tema, ikut citarasa sendiri. 

Mak cakap orang simpan bunga telur kejap je..pastu dieorang buang jugak. Then Akma pula look for something simple, sweet...ikut theme colour...on the way drive balik keje, ilham pun tiba..so untuk bunga telur ni setelah dah abes fikir,Akma buat bunga tisu.Tapi instead of guna tisu yang agak fragile, Akma guna crepe paper. And Akma guna ribbon yang sangat banyak merimbun. Nak buat memang sangat senang. Tapi yang lambat nak cut the papers and the ribbons tu yang ambil masa. 

Petang tadi kena potong-potong kertas and ribbons sebab yang hari tu punya dah abes. Hari tu dapat la 16 bunga telur...tadi pulak dapat buat lagi 4..so total dah ada 20 semuanya. Hooray! Baru 20! Takpe...still have months to go. Harap-harap kerajinan berkekalan la hendaknya...Oh ya...the bunga telur will be like this...

So dalam satu pahar tu nanti akan ada mix bunga putih and biru...ada splashes of yellow sikit. Bunga ni memang kembang semangkuk. Baru siap 16 kuntum hari tu da merimbun satu polystyrene tu...hukhuk.. Maklumlah...minah bunga la katakan..Alahai...seronoknya buat prep nak kahwin ni..hihi.

Nota kaki : Mak called petang tadi informed that CD photos from my e-day dari my OP da sampai. Esok mak bawa datang Seremban. Ho yeahhh! Boleh upload sharing dengan korang!

Let's crabby party!!!

Venue : The best crab restaurant ever..i guess

Victims : Akma, Farah and Hanis.

After struggling with our workloads, me and my friends, Sis Farah, knew that we could do something better to cheer up our hectic day at  school. Certainly not movie or singing our hell out in a karaoke room, but on something that sooner or later will let me died in one of the 7 deadly sins. Haha.

After Zohor, we made our way to Unisel Bestari Jaya to fetch Sis Farah 'lil sis, Hanis. Then our journey to the crab's heaven began. The restaurant was in Kuala Selangor and it was my first time dining-in that restaurant. Damn~it was marvelous! The freshness and tenderness of the crab, the softness of the bread and the tantalizing taste of the dishes made me crazy!!!! It's a soul food! Phew! And hey, it was my first time having prawn mantis. It was superb!!!!

What we had ordered for that day? Ok. Let's see...

1) Ketam masak telur masin.

What to say about this one..erm...Splendid!!! Memang sedap I tell you. Walaupun masak telur masin, but it's not salty at all. Memang sedap. Tak tau nak cakap apa dah..

2) Ketam sweet sour.

Meleleh ayaq liuq wehhhhh....

Tantalizing!!!! We ate this with bread. The bread was marvelous. Memang sangat soft, sangat tasty. We didn't order rice because we knew that we're going to be bloated with crab.Look at the size of the crabs.

Nak makan ketam lagi!!!

Other side dishes we ordered were bread,saute baby kailan and prawn mantis goreng cili. Sedap tak terkata. And the experience nak keluarkan isi ketam pakai penyepit tu memang best! The last kaki ketam barulah dapat keluarkan isi dia macam makan ice-cream. Yummy!!!

 Apa jadi lepas tu??? haha. The whole night I bloated dengan food. 

Thanks to Sis Farah for that unforgettable treat. Must repeat to eat crab again.

Another hectic weekend.

Another hectic weekend? Err....am I a hot stuff or what? Gile perasan kottt... Actually not that hectic as last two week but still can be considered as busy. And what more important is I'm not a hot stuff, of course. Motiff???

First of all, I want to congratulate my beloved sister for her convocation yesterday. Tahniah Kak Long!! Yang konvo nye sorang..yang datang sampai 5 buah kereta. Ambik ko!!!Rombongan Cik Nah ke UKM. Huahuahua. Empunya badan yang grad biasa-biasa je...Yang tetamu pulak yang over. Berkampung bawah pokok, bentang tikar, sambil makan bekal nasi lemak yang mak masak. Although I arrived a bit late, tapi sempat la menunggu dalam 2 jam. Phew~ Lama okeyh...Naik kematu punggung ni. And yang sedih..tak banyak gambar dapat snap. No camera!! What????? Camera habis battery. OP plak ade hal..so just berharap pada camera phone. But then tadi belliau datang dan buat sikit photoshoot. Thanks sayang. Mak, kakak and abang semua suka your photos, your camera and the most important, suka you. Oppsss. Lebih-lebih plak kan?

Ishkkkk...Mulalah terasa nak sambung belajar ambil master kan...but I'm not sure whether I can take it or not. Sis cakap sekarang memang tak rasa macam boleh handle, but then when you go through...then you know. Hmmmm....betul jugak. Tapi..not now la. 

Not now???? What do you mean but not now??? Ada benda yang sedang merangkak ni. And I can't settle down two BIG things at the same time. So study??? Nanti la kot....huahuahua. Lagipun....kami dah set date! Phew~ Baru boleh tarik nafas lega. Memandangkan macam jauh lagi so bulan depan la hantar tempah baju..Tapi still kena jangan happy sangat. Benda masih kat tengah laut. Sekian.

Okay then. Need to sleep. Penat sangat. Tadi practice lagi. Hmm...nanti tunggu photos. Night everyone.

The hectic weekends story.

Assalamualaikum all.

I've been awful quiet lately. I've started my work routine and my weekends were packed with my BFF's wedding receptions. Yes, she's married!!! And I was as happy as a lark throughout the events. Times did fly so fast. I feel like it was yesterday when she said she had a boyfriend. And now, she's married!! Me? Whoa. Please don't ask. I have no answer for that. For me, my love life is like a wheel. I just couldn't say more. He's so unpredictable. And I just don't know what makes him so scared to confess. Let's just wait for a miracle. InsyaAllah. Full stop. Hey, stop talking about me la woi....It's about my BFF big day!

9th September 2011.

Mood of working already gone. I just couldn't wait to reached Ipoh as secepat as mungkin. Haha! Menggelupur. Her solemnization was after Isyak and I have to make sure that I arrived just in time. Didn't want to be late and didn't want to miss out my BFF precious moment once in a life!!! Alhamdulillah, I arrived before Maghrib. All I could say is she's so pretty as a picture. She looked so radiant. Seri pengantin memang naik. Wah...every bride will have that kind of radiant faces on their big day eh? Me want it too..huuuu~ Ngade la ko!

The period of waiting for akad nikah, she got the jitters and her both hands were sweating all the way! As I promised earlier, I will make sure that everything will be just fine. Tissue penuh dalam bag. Don't worry. Haha! The moment her hubby terima akad nikah, I had my teary eyes already. It's the tears of joys. I'm truly really happy for you. Macam aku pulakkan yang kahwin..Over~ But seriously, I'm happy.

A bit busy that day. Started our hectic day with Majlis Khatam Al-quran. I joined the event. Right after that, settling things that need to be settled down before the reception. Never thought that real pengapit will be such busy. But I enjoyed it! Why? Because I always by her side every minute, every second! Ngeee~ And the event went smoothly even got small tiny matters here and there. Babe, you are so gorgeous on that day. Congratulations to both of you. I have some photos, taken from her OP, Mr. Mior. The week after my BFF's big day, I was busy with my duty as Pengawas Peperiksaan at SJK (C) Kheow Bin. First time jaga exam. It was fun walaupun penat berdiri. Fun because I don't have to think about school matters for a while. Yay!!!

Selamat Hari Malaysia everyone. Better late than never. Ngee~ We (me and BFF) getting ready for the 2nd reception at Seremban. After "tepek-tepek" inai session and we were ready for the journey. Her hubby said do whatever we want to do, so we decided to visit one of our friend, Liyana. Thanks to Liyana and husband sebab sudi entertained kami. Kalau tak, memang mati kutu, tak tahu nak buat apa. Huuu..

This time, I was not busy like I was in Ipoh. Still, she's so gorgeous! And thanks to my deary sebab sudi datang Seremban and temankan I. If not, I'll be alone. Sob..sob. I had a great time there too. And the acar buah was so scrumptious. Sedaappppp!!! Rasa macam nak tapau je. Muahahahaha. Well, let the photos do the talking. Thanks Zaffan Zaini for the photos. I curik. Huahuahua.

Update, update!

Well...when you have too many things to be shared, you will end up sharing nothing. And it's true. I really don't have time to finish what I've started. Does it show that I'm a busy career woman? *ewww~puke!!!* But seriously, I'm too busy. Not just busy, but also tired!!! And I couldn't argue more because it's Ramadhan. 

And hey, guess what? Today was the third day I walk to school. And it takes me about 15-20 minutes to arrive. It's not that bad actually, walking to school early in the morning and get some fresh morning air!! And I guess I can live without my car. Seriously, it's not that bad. I started to love walking instead of driving. Boleh exercise what..hee....Kelassss ko Jah!

Oh, I went out to Alpha Angle just now with my friend. And I bought a pair of shoes. I fell in love with its colours, the comfort and the most important is the price!!!!! 

I just love it!!

Don't you just adore the colour? I know..I know that the colour is so not into my family theme colour for this year..Urghh! Like I care. It's my shoes.=)

Foundation??

Yuhuuu!!! Uolss tengah buat apa tu? Puasa dak? Alhamdulillah...hari ni dah masuk Ramadhan yang ke 12 ! Sekejap sangat masa berlalu kan? Bahang raya pun dah makin terasa. Cuma dekat radio masih belum lagi kedengaran lagu raya...Sat lagi bila dah putaq lagu raya, confirm dah rasa macam dekat sangat nak raya.

By the way, balik kerja tadi hampir-hampir dah nak ke Jalan TAR. But then sebab takde orang yang nak mengular, maka niat terus terbatal. Then I headed to Giant Batu Caves. Niat di hati mencari bahan basah nak masak. And I was about to park my car and suddenly my phone rang. It's the Mr. Postman. Yay!! My parcel arrived already nolks~ Original Naturactor Foundation yang I order tu dah sampai!!! Maka, beli barang cepat-cepat, and bergegas pergi ambil barang tersebut at my school's postguard. Bukan apa, tak sabar nak test conteng-conteng kat muka. Kuangkuangkuang.

So balik rumah terus cuci muka bersih-bersih. And before apply that foundation, I terfikir nak apply my UV Face Milk SPF 50+ dulu. Kenapa? Well, sekarang ni kan sangat panas...so our skin need a protection. So sebab takut muka jadi oily *sila note yang kulit saya jenis yang berminyak *  baik la kita cuba try test dulu kan? 

Lepas ratakan sunblock all over my face, I apply that Original Naturactor Foundation. I ratakan pakai damped puff supaya tak capuk-capuk and it will last longer. After apply that foundation, I finished it dengan my compact. Well, it is advisable to finish it with loose powder..tapi my skin ni super sensitive...bedak ni je yang boleh pakai kat my face..It's a compact powder from Bodyshop. And...I love the result. Tak berminyak and looks natural. Thanks Syafiqah for introducing me to this foundation. Jom tengok hasil. By the way, mind the tudung and baju....kan main conteng-conteng muka dalam rumah...So I just grab apa yang ada kat sekeliling to cover my aurat.

Tak oily kan? 

Ok. Just mind the eyebag.

Sukaaa...boleh conteng-conteng muka masa raya nanti!!! Ok then. Nak ke dapur pulak. Today's menu mask lemak udang campur kacang panjang, ikan kukus (again...well my housemate request) and telur dadar...Korang berbuka apa?

This is No. 2

Fuhhh~ Hari ni adalah hari yang meletihkan. So damn tired! I went shopping with my sister and my lil brother. Bayangkan keluar rumah pukul 8.30 pagi and sampai rumah balik 8.30 malam. Err....12 jam bukan? Destinasi kami biasalah...Jalan TAR dan Sogo. Pencarian baju raya telah bermula!! Hii...

Habis je tawaf kat situ, masing-masing dah sakit kaki..Haruslah sakit..Kalau nak shopping dengan my sis, kena stamina yang tinggi..Naik je kete, my lil bro and my sis berehat....I olss still tak dapat rehat..Driver kena stamina double. Kuangkuangkuang..Sampai je rumah, terus melayan my niece main iPad then baru mandi dan makan. 

Habis je makan....jengjengjeng.....Terus je potong kain yang baru beli tadi...Nak buat baju la....Hilang semua penat sebab semangat nak jahit baju lagi...Baju first dah siap kan. So sekarang baju no. 2 is still in progress. Baru siap potong. Esok kalau sempat nak hantar jahit tepi before pergi wedding my friend tu. Kalau sempat la..If tak sempat, hantar di Gombak je la nampaknya..

Eh, esok nak pakai baju kurung yang first tu..Ngeee~

Abah with his same old stories..=)

June is synonym with the Father's Day celebration. (I mean instead of my birthday..hihi)  So I'm gonna let my beautiful fingers dancing on my keyboard, sharing stories of my dad.

My family used to have a chat when we are enjoying our meals. I know that it's not a good habit but we used to do it ever since I was a little kid. Things that we chat are jokes and old grandmother stories. Although it were repeated over and over again, nothing can get us bored. So yesterday, when we (my abah (my dad), my mak (my mom), my 'lil brother, my grandfather and I) had our lunch together, we heard a frog croaking from our kitchen.Then my abah started to tell us the stories of the frog, the elephant and the crocodile. The same old stories that my abah used to tell me before. So I'm gonna share you my abah's version of both stories.

1) A story about a frog. 

Why does a frog croaking and had a chubby cheek and a big mouth?My abah said, there is a reason why a frog croak and makes that "ribbit" sounds. He told me that once a upon a time, I mean a very very long time ago, there was a family- a father,a mother and their son- lived happily in the forest. One day, the mother made slices of roasted beef. The smell was so good and it attracted the frog that live under a coconut shell nearby their house. The family was about to had their meal but then it was still too hot. So they decided to had a walk  at their backyard garden while waiting for the meal to get cold. The frog heard them and quickly went to their kitchen to steal that scrumptious roasted beef. The frog took the beef and quickly put it inside its mouth, without knowing that the beef is still too hot!! Then the frog heard a thumping sound approaching the kitchen. It was the family! The frog quickly hide itself inside the cupboard, with the hot beef inside its mouth. It couldn't stand the heat from the beef..so that's why it makes that "ribbit" sound. Just try imagine yourself put something hot inside your mouth.Hmmm..... 

I hate frog. I mean I REALLY hate frog. Ewww~

2) A story about an elephant and a crocodile.

Ever wondered why elephant had a trunk and crocodile had a long mouth? My dad told me that long ago, animals lived harmony in a jungle. One day, the weather became so hot and it occurred a drought. All the animals were craving for water especially the elephant. The elephant couldn't stand the heat anymore. It walked around and found a river which nearly dried. Unfortunately, there was a fierce crocodile lived in the river. Without asking a permission, the elephant drank the water from the river. It angered the crocodile. So the crocodile went mad and it had a fight with the elephant. The crocodile bit the elephant's nose and the elephant screamed in pain. The elephant tried to pull its nose away from the crocodile. They fought until their nose and mouth became lengthy. So that is why until now the elephant has a trunk and crocodile had a long mouth. Hmmm....what do you think?

Well...maybe my abah is right.

I do believe in my dad's stories as I grew up with them. Well abah, your daughter will always be there to listen to your jokes and stories..Even though sometimes it's kinda annoying. But you are the best abah in the world. I'm thankful to have a father like you.Happy father's day. I love you Abah.

Akhirnya..

Akhirnya! Kini pasti, ku merasai....cinta yang suci..Hep! Ingat nak nyanyi lagu Kak Nita ke? Motif la kan?? Kuangkuangkuang..Bukan la...nak share kat sini akhirnya berjaya juga saya siapkan baju kurung saya sendiri. Hooray!!!! Lambat siap sebab hari Jumaat dah terpaksa bagi ruang kat Majlis Nikah my cousin..Sabtu pula sibuk dengan her reception. Lepas balik reception tu baru la bertungkus-lumus siapkan baju pertama saya. Dan alhamdulillah..dah siap. 

Maaf. Gambar adalah sedikit bergegar. My niece la yang snap muka auntie dia yang tengah teruja ni..Tet!!

Masa ni tengah tungkus lumus nak siapkan baju sebab saya nak pakai masa reception kawan saya minggu depan nanti. Biarlah kain cotton je pun. I like. Okay, jom close up muka teruja dapat jahit baju sendiri.

Sikit lagi nak siap...sikit je lagi....

See...sangat teruja bukan? Lepas ni terpaksalah kena bahagikan masa antara oven dan mesin jahit. Eh? Hahaha..Weee~ Okay, jom tengok hasil. 

Yay!!!!!

Tadaaa!!!!!! Dah siap pun. Ni kira dah siap sepenuhnya, dah claimed both tangan, badan and leher. Leher tu saya finish it dan kemaskan dengan jahitan mata lalat je. Terpulang pada individu..ada yang buat tulang belut, ada yang letak kun (betul ke ejaan dia ni?Tett!!!), dan ada yang nak cepat, zasss pakai mesin jahit je..Kuangkuangkuang..Nampak senget sikit sebab saya yang berdiri senget. Huahuahua..Mungkin sebab dah teruja sangat la tu...

Nampaknya lepas ni tak payah la saya pening-pening nak hantar baju raya kat mana kan..Jahit sendiri lagi senang hati. Pakai baju hasil jahitan sendiri adalah sangat selesa. Tak kisahlah apa korang nak cakap, tapi I'm proud of myself.

I completed my last M skill!

Dalam hidup ni kita mesti perlu ada visi dan misi. Misi dan visi saya adalah nak menguasai semua kemahiran 3M yang patut ada pada diri saya sebagai seorang perempuan. Okay, perempuan yang asal-usul dari kampung. Mengemas dan memasak, alhamdulillah bukan satu masalah bagi saya. Cuma saya adalah lemah sedikit dalam menjahit. Takat menjahit butang, claimed or buat soft toys..boleh la...But after pergi unofficial class dengan kakak saya, alhamdulillah...Now rasa jahit baju kurung tu bukanlah sesusah mana. Bila dah tahu menjahit, rasa macam tak berbaloi selama ni hantar upah jahit yang sangat mahal. Dekat area rumah saya, upah jahit agak mahal..RM55 untuk baju kurung kain cotton. Mahal bukan?

Well..tada!!!

Tu belum siap lagi..tengok la gambar tu..tak da pesak lagi.....Sekarang dah siap sambung pesak, kekek and tangan. Tinggal sambung badan dan buat kain je.

A Hectic Weekend Getaway

Okay...adalah telah mengambil masa yang agak lama untuk mengupdate entry yang baru. Sebelum saya merapu...nak say Welcome to Cik Minah dan extended gratitude to you Cik Minah sebab at last ada juga yang bersependapat dengan saya tentang ketidakgemaran dan ketidaksukaan terhadap gaya fesyen bertudung sekarang yang konon-konon bak ala H**a Ta*ji** tu. Nyampah uollsss.. Serabut. Well tapi terserah pada anda. Kalau anda suka, dan rasa sangat cool dan comel yang melampau bila pakai fesyen macam tu, teruskan. Tak salah. Saya bukan Tuhan nak jatuhkan apa-apa hukum. Bak kata pepatah...rambut sama hitam tapi hati kan lain-lain. LAin orang, lain pendapatnnya. No offense.

Berbalik pada topik yang tak berapa nak hot ni...Al-kisah Ahad 2 minggu lepas, Encik Boify telah ajak keluar berdating. Adalah sangat jarang beliau ajak dating. Maklumlah...dah sama-sama busy. Nak update blog pun takde masa, apatah lagi nak berjumpa....So it was our hectic getaway to Bukit Tinggi.

That place has a nice view. Sesuai untuk spend time dengan family dan orang tersayang. Ok. Cakap banyak tak guna. Just nak share some piccas.

People often might think that teaching is as easy as a piece of cake. I was once had a mindset like that too. Well if you really do think like that, your mindsets and perceptions are wrong. Days pasts and being involved in this professions had made me realized that teaching is actually a one tough job.A professions that involves long hours, much stress and hopefully much satisfactions. People expect a teacher to be always in the classroom guiding the children to become worthwhile citizens while setting a good example for them. As a teacher, I must be very careful to avoid displaying a misdemeanor lest I will be branded as not behaving like a teacher. The word teacher tells me a lot about behaving well and being a model to people especially to the young people whom a I teach. I have to teach from the heart, not from the book.

As teaching the early level of kids, I think that dealing with the clients are the most stressing part for me. Parents always seeking for the perfections but sometimes they don't really co-operate and rely on the teacher 100%. The delegations of tasks will be more difficult when I have to do the filing thingy, the documentation thingy and at the same time I have to maintain my performance in my core business, which is teaching. Well, not to mention about cleaning the kids when they wet their pants. Sometimes I had to extand my working hours just to make sure that I always keep on track. But I take that as my worthwhile and amazing experiences ever.

However, everything - I mean the stressfulness, the patience, the hard work, the tiredness - seems faded away when my kids, my students appreciate me. I received flowers, cards, drawings and small presents everyday. Actually all the things are not that important. What I need is just a sincere, simple thank you to show their appreciations towards me.

And today is the day. The day which I called it "Appreciation Day". To all my students, I love you more than you can imagine. Sorry for being "HULK" sometimes in the class. I just want you to know that I love you all every now and then. Nothing can make me happy except your good and outstanding achivements. I will always pray for your happiness and success. And please don't forget me, the one that taught you to know A,B,C until Z and the one who taught you to write your own name on the paper. May Allah  bestows you with happiness and success in your life. May you guys be a good doctor, a good lawyer, a good accountant, a good architect in the future. I am nothing without my students who always make my day.

And to all my friends and teachers out there, I wish all of you a very Happy Teacher's Day. Guru Penjana Transformasi Pendidikan Negara. God bless, InsyaAllah.
